Are you a young person looking to develop your Leadership skills in the Arts? Mayhem Future Leaders.
- We provide opportunities for members to develop their skills as administrators, fundraisers, and leaders in performing arts in a number of professional environments.
- This can range from work placements and professional career mentoring to working along side our board in developing and implementing strategy.
Previous work includes: Present Tense: MAYHEM with Nabokov at Southbank Centre, with SE1 United on the Udderbelly at the Southbank Centre. A partnership with Southwark Playhouse, B3 Media and the South Bank Centre on their Some Other Way Forward Project (SOWF). Two of our members became ‘Street Genius Arts Managers’ and devised, delivered and managed a highly successful Mobile Phone Film Festival, whilst one of our members has successfully led funding bids for Youth Opportunity Fund over the last two years. Our older TMC regularly work alongside professional workshop leaders in the delivery of MYT and MASH.


New Deal of the Mind: We are delighted to be working in partnership with New Deal of the Mind as they seek to find work for young people who have been receiving job seekers allowance for more than 6 months. Mayhem will have two posts available from mid April for MAYHEM workers developing the Elephant 21 project throughout the community.
Beyond Mayhem: We provide direct access to established Casting Directors and Agents working in film, television and theatre. Our reputation and experience provides members with informed and appropriate casting opportunities throughout the industry.
Previous work includes: Members have been in films, Brixton 85 and Kid directed by Tom Green, Enter The Preacher by Paulette James and Louie directed by Ross McElwain. Members are also part of the National Youth Theatre as well being accepted into drama schools- including RADA.

Mayhem Future Leaders have the opportunity to participate in the bronze and silver Arts Award Scheme, leading to formal certification for all their work throughout the company and beyond.
